Your map will be presented within a window mount and a natural wood frame. For safety, perspex is used rather than glass. Map dimensions approximately 40cm x 53cm.
Cambridge University Library has one of five known sets of proof maps prepared for John Speed's Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine which was published in 1611/12. Some of the maps were altered before being published and one - the map of Cheshire - was completely re-engraved.
