The unsettling arrival of enigmatic strangers Goldberg (Stephen Mangan) and McCann disrupts the humdrum lives of the inhabitants and their friend Lulu (Pearl Mackie), and mundanity soon becomes menace when a seemingly innocent birthday party turns into a disturbing nightmare. Truth and alliances hastily shift in Pinter's brilliantly mysterious dark-comic masterpiece about the absurd terrors of the everyday.
The optional student social programme aims to provide opportunities to network in an informal manner with students from other courses and disciplines. With seats in the stalls at the Harold Pinter Theatre, London, enjoy an evening performance of The Birthday Party at 7.30pm on Thursday 22 February.
Join your fellow students and tutors from across the Institute of Continuing Education’s diverse community in an opportunity to network for business and pleasure and enjoy varsity sport at its best. With breath-taking views of the action on the pitch, the comfort and luxury of the ICE executive box is the perfect way to experience the Varsity Match at Twickenham.
