Blue Fitness is purpose designed as a warm, friendly exercise environment, located in the heart of the City, with state-of-the-art training equipment, air conditioning, changing facilities and fantastic, individual showers. With fantastic views over the River Cam, and cutting edge training equipment, it’s the perfect place to keep fit and healthy.

Health & Safety
Before using the Blue Fitness for the first time you must complete a medical form, alert us to any relevant medical condition and obtain a medical report, if necessary. You will then have a formal induction to ensure that you can use the facilities safely. When training, do not overstrain yourself. Seek advice immediately if you feel unwell or any unusual strain while exercising and follow any advice given by our staff. Please report any accidents, incidents or concerns to our staff. There is always a Duty Manager available who is qualified in First Aid.
Access is for members only via your key card. Key cards are not transferable. You are not allowed to bring guests into Blue Fitness or lend your key card to anyone else. Opening hours are usually from 7.00am to 9.00pm, seven days a week. We follow the University opening times; we close between Christmas and New Year, Easter weekend and August Bank Holiday. However, access and opening hours may be subject to reasonable change where necessary for operational reasons.
Membership subscriptions are available on Annual, Quarterly, or Termly basis. Fees will be charged in advance to your payment card (you may use a credit or debit card). Fees are not refundable except in the case of illness of more than 1 month evidenced by a medical certificate. Increases in fees may apply on renewal. If you wish to reinstate a lapsed subscription, a further joining fee may be charged. On joining a one off nominal fee of £10 will be charged to your Wellness key fob, this charge is non-refundable. A charge of £10 will be made to replace lost key fobs.
You must observe all the rules of the University Centre and any notices in the Blue Fitness about the use of equipment and length of use in busy periods. Observe any staff directions and pay attention to the reasonable requirements and needs of other Blue Fitness users. Clean clothes and footwear must be worn. You must bring a towel to wipe down equipment after use. Use the lockers for your property. They provide a reasonable degree of security but cannot protect against determined theft. You must not leave anything in your locker after training. Lockers are cleared every evening. Failure to observe these conditions may lead to you being required to leave the Blue Fitness. Serious or repeated breach may lead to your subscription being cancelled without refund.
