Ed draws inspiration from natural systems, especially grasslands, to inform designed landscapes as they’ve proven to be more resilient during recent droughts and flooding. Wakehurst also has a research programme (Nature Unlocked) which measures the multiple benefits of our biodiverse landscapes, both designed and natural. Ed will discuss the value of this research to generate critical evidence on the value of nature.
