The Cambridge Workshop on Universal Access and Assistive Technology (CWUAAT) series has hosted the multifaceted dialogue on design for inclusion since 2002, involving disciplines such as computer science, engineering, design, architecture, ergonomics and human factors, policy and gerontology. The biannual workshop is characterised by a single session running over three days in pleasant surroundings.

The conference theme for 2023 is ‘Design for sustainable inclusion’. This requires a cross-disciplinary approach and close collaboration with many stakeholders. In the context of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, the CWUAAT 2023 invites all relevant disciplines and stakeholders to gather at the University of Cambridge and discuss the implications of design for sustainable inclusion openly, critically, rigorously and imaginatively.

CWUAAT 2023 will be held on 27-29 March 2023 at the new venue of St Catharine’s College, a beautiful college right at the centre of Cambridge, UK.

• The author and the student author registration deadline is 19 December 2022
• Early bird academic registration deadline is 6 January 2023
• Late student registration deadline is 16 February 2023.
