The Wessex field trip provides an "on-the-ground" practical perspective on the unique World Heritage landscapes of Stonehenge and Avebury. Archaeology and heritage go hand-in-hand on the field trip and participants are encouraged to consider the practical aspects of managing various types of heritage locations as well as considering the interactive nature of archaeological and heritage data/interpretation.
