EventsEventsLoss, grief, and its therapy, September 2025DescriptionLoss, grief, and its therapy: philosophical perspectives from ancient Greece, Rome, and Asia The aim of this 3-day international conference is to provide a forum for academics specialising in different ancient philosophical traditions to engage in a dialogue about ancient conceptualisations of grief and the types of attitudes they thought appropriate for us to adopt towards it, including consolation therapy. Speakers: - Han Baltussen (University of Adelaide) The registration fee covers the conference delegate pack, coffee breaks and lunch for 3 days. No card payment is required as the full cost will be dealt with internally. Please ensure a Purchase order number or authorised cost centre is available prior to registration.
