The Mallen Conference is an annual meeting of global leading scholars who are excited by the business and economics of screen entertainment and the managers who make practical decisions about it. Participants have an original interest to advance managerial decision making in the context of entertainment in relevant ways. Accordingly, an essential element of the conference is to provide a forum for discussions between screen entertainment researchers and managers. Together, we search for ways to better understand the mechanisms and processes contributing to the successful creation, management, and marketing of screen entertainment.
