Join Dr Julia Mackenzie, for an online workshop to identify the birds you can hear around the Garden. With lots of opportunities to put forward your questions, this will be an online event, so a computer will be required with access to the internet.

Dr Julia Mackenzie, who carries out bird research at the Botanic Garden, will lead an early‐morning tour, observing birds in the Garden before it opens to the public. Price includes a hot breakfast in the Garden Café, with pastries, tea and coffee, after the tour.

Oxford Botanic Garden is the UK's oldest botanic garden. Founded in 1621, the Garden is committed to educating people about the importance of plants, conserving plants from around the world, and supporting research. Magdalen College stands next to the River Cherwell and the Botanic Garden, an absolute must see in Oxford!

Friends are invited to join Head Gardener, Brendon Sims, to explore the magnificent College gardens including a rare look at the great Oriental Plane tree (Platanus orientalis) in the Fellows Garden which is usually off limits to visitors.
