The main objective of the workshop is to foster innovation in low-cost digitalisation and digital transformation. The workshop will promote the research and development of concepts, methods, and technologies to be used for developing low-cost digital solutions for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, logistics and healthcare.

This year's theme for the workshop focuses on Low-cost automation driving sustainability and papers exploring issues in this area are particularly encouraged. More broadly, the workshop seeks papers in key areas relating to low-cost systems, such as system design, supply chain, industrial applications, legacy systems, security, etc. The workshop will include discussion forums and keynote talks from academic and industrial experts.
