Description

The Cambridge Conference on Catastrophic Risk (CCCR 2026) aims to bring together the existential and catastrophic risk community, with a focus this year on the governance challenges shaping tomorrow’s world. The programme features novel insights from across the field, with in-depth sessions on addressing climate breakdown, developments in tech and AI, and emerging health-security risks. The conference invites participants to connect with others working on the most pressing systemic risks we face. 

The Conference will be held on 17th – 18th September 2026 at Magdalene College, Cambridge with an optional formal dinner held on 17th September.

If your department will cover the participation cost, please liaise with your finance team to arrange an internal cross-charge via PO. Send a PDF copy of the Purchase Order to Laura Elmer at events@cser.cam.ac.uk and you will receive a passcode to complete registration under UoC Staff Registration or UoC Student Registration.

Please note that tickets for UoC students and staff are not free and will be charged at the following rates: Standard registration: £120 with optional dinner at £60, Student registration: £60 with optional dinner at £50.

If you are self-funding UoC Member and will not submit an expense claim afterwards, please register under the appropriate external attendee category from the list below.
