DescriptionUnderstanding the long-term evolution and performance of High Heat Generating Wastes (HHGW) in disposal conditions is a key consideration in the delivery of the UK’s Geological Disposal Facility (GDF). The conference will focus on the evolution of a range of Higher activity wastes Register for this event by following the link below. Researchers in this field, directly funded by NDA and NWS will be contacted direct and encouraged to register, using a pre-notified sales access passcode. Early bird rates for all other attendees are offered for bookings made prior to 30th April 2024. Registration fees include attendance at the 3 day event, daily refreshments and lunches, and one gala dinner. UoC staff/student whose cost centre / grant is covering their registration will be charged the appropriate fee but should select 'UoC Staff/Student ’ registration (£0) initially to trigger the internal charging process. A cost centre is required for student/staff from Earth Sciences Department to complete the registration process. An approved Purchase Order is necessary if you are from another department.
