The Interdisciplinary VoiceThe Interdisciplinary VoiceThe Interdisciplinary Voice Workshop, 08-09 September 2025DescriptionThis two-day workshop will bring together academics interested in different aspects of the voice and vocal control to foster discussion and collaboration. The day will consist of a series of talks from researchers working across a variety of disciplines, including psychiatry, philosophy, cognitive neuroscience, history and music/performance studies. We will also have sessions for open discussion, and will facilitate networking over coffee/lunch breaks and a conference dinner. Registration category: 1. Standard: For postdoctoral researchers, lecturers, PIs, and those in other permanent positions who have access to full financial support from their own grant or other funding that will cover the cost of registration and the optional dinner. 2. Concession: For students, research assistants or postdoctoral researchers who have limited access to grant or other funding that will cover the cost of registration and the optional dinner. 3. Speaker / Bursary: For students, research assistants or postdoctoral researchers who would like to request financial aid, or for invited speakers. 4. UoC Student/Staff : This is not free of charge to attend. University of Cambridge Staff & Students, whose department will be paying for the participation fee, please liaise with your finance team to trigger internal charging process. Please arrange a PO/Grant Code/Cost centre prior to registering. Once arranged, please register under Category 4: UoC Student/Staff Registration: Internal cross-charge.
