This conference, held every two years, gathers scientists from across the field of inorganic chemistry (coordination chemistry, main group, organometallics, homogeneous catalysis and reaction mechanisms). It is aimed at those in the early stages of their careers, such as junior faculty members (usually within 7 years of their appointment), independent fellows, and postdoctoral researchers with substantial experience. Participants are invited to give short talks to showcase their research, introduce themselves to peers, and spark potential collaborations. The MICRA meetings provide an excellent chance to connect with early career inorganic chemists from across the UK.
