DescriptionBookings Open Soon! We are delighted to be hosting the 6th biennial Transnational Opera Studies Conference here at the University of Cambridge from July 7th–9th, 2025. The conference will be taking place across three days at the Faculty of Music and Jesus College. TOSC@Cambridge will feature two keynote lectures, which will be delivered by Professor Carolyn Abbate (Harvard University) and Professor Francesca Vella (University of Northumbria & recipient of the 2023 TOSCA Prize), as well as a concluding roundtable on ‘The State of Opera Today: Insights from the Industry’. We look forward to welcoming you at TOSC@Cambridge! Please visit www.toscatcambridge2025.com for further information. Early-bird booking will remain in place until Monday 30th June. After that time, registration costs will rise to £200 (full price), £170 (full price with RMA membership), £120 (student, lower-waged and retired), and £80 (student, lower-waged and retired with RMA membership). We regret that no single-day registration is available for the conference. Registration includes lunches on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th July, and tea and coffee breaks on all three days.
