Description

The Cambridge Psychedelic Research Group is thrilled to announce the 2nd Cambridge Psychedelic Research Day, taking place on April 22th 2026 at the historic Clare College, University of Cambridge. This groundbreaking event will showcase cutting-edge developments in psychedelic science, featuring leading national and international experts in the field, thought-provoking discussions, and offer a platform for networking. Attendees can expect a full day of engaging talks and panel discussions. Researchers will share their latest findings on how psychedelics and empathogens will offer new treatments for mental health conditions.

This is an invaluable opportunity to connect with a multidisciplinary community united by a shared interest in the potential of psychedelics to reshape mental health care and scientific exploration. Whether you are a health care professional, an early-career researcher, or simply curious about the field, this event promises to be a day of inspiration and discovery. We look forward to welcoming you to this vibrant and collaborative gathering!

Last year’s inaugural event was a great success — you can read more about it here.

The Cambridge Psychedelic Research group, led by Dr Liliana Galindo, is a multidisciplinary group composed by Clinical Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Pharmacologist, Nurses and Clinical Researchers, from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge University Hospital and University of Cambridge, bringing together a wealth of knowledge and experience.

As a group, we focus on the study of the therapeutic potential of psychedelics and empathogens to treat mental health conditions. Our primary goal is to increase access to innovative research treatments for people who are suffering mental health conditions resistant to treatments.
