DNA Tumour Virus Meeting, 19-24 July 2026

Description

The DNA Tumour Virus Meeting (DNA TVM) brings together a diverse group of researchers who share an interest in DNA tumour viruses.
These viruses include the polyomaviruses, papillomaviruses, and adenoviruses, which constitute invaluable models for understanding cancer onset and progression. These specific viruses are clinically important pathogens due to their association with the development of several human cancers. The most notable example being the human papillomaviruses (HPV), which are the cause of virtually all cervical cancer cases. Research on DNA tumour viruses continues to advance rapidly, and this meeting provides a major forum for disseminating these findings to scientists from around the world. For over five decades, the DNA TVM has fostered remarkable discoveries in the molecular biology of these agents and their associated cancers.

This year's meeting will be held at Churchill’s College, which has a long history as a venue for this meeting. The event will begin on  Sunday, July 19th, with registration, followed by the first scientific session, scheduled for Sunday evening. The conference banquet will take place after the final session on the evening of Thursday, 23rd July. Registration and abstract submission details will be announced towards the end of February. We look forward to welcoming you to DNA TVM 2026.
