Please join us on Saturday 4 July for an afternoon of talks in recognition of the 80th Anniversary of the Friends of the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI), followed by Dinner at Jesus College, Cambridge.
AFTERNOON AT SPRI
14.00 – 17.30 pm - Prof. Julian Dowdeswell (Chair of the Friends) will host an afternoon of talks and tours of the SPRI and its Polar Museum. Presentations will include the history of the Friends, Arctic megafauna and ecosystems, and the Aurora by Julian, Prof. Marc Marcias-Fauria and Prof. Mike Pinnock.
EVENING DINNER AT JESUS COLLEGE
19.00 – Pre-dinner drinks served in the garden (weather permitting).
19.30 – Dinner, to include wines and soft drinks.
