Description

There is growing public concern, and an urgent need for scientific evidence, about the impact of social media on young people. As the social media research field gathers interest and technology progresses, research methods are rapidly evolving. At this conference, we invite social media researchers from across the world with a range of methodological backgrounds to exchange research and ideas, and to network. We hope to create an opportunity for learning, training and information exchange, as well as to seed future international and interdisciplinary collaborations in this policy-relevant space.

The conference will take place at St John’s College, University of Cambridge, from 7th to 8th December 2026. The programme will include keynote speakers, posters sessions, symposia, panel discussions, and a workshop on science communication.
